The revitalised site will also feature flexible floorplates, wellness areas and balconies. The property development is targeting BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ and EPC ‘A’ rankings, adhering to the release of smart systems and low-carbon components across the site.

The redevelopment, manage by building and property consultancy Gleeds, Make Architects, leasing advisors Savills and planning consultants Newmark, is projected to deliver over 370,000 sq ft of brand-new Grade A work space. Designed for modern occupiers, the structure is also set to include a new cultural venue, the ‘Holborn Dome’, along with a public pocket park at Southampton Buildings and enhanced ground-floor facilities and permeability.

“This is precisely the kind of plan we intend to see even more of in the Square Mile– best-in-class office that helps keep London globally competitive while also providing public spaces that many people can savor,” includes Tom Sleigh, chairperson of the City of London Planning and Transportation Board.

The project focuses on the regrowth of a 1.4-acre island site consisting of three properties at 322 High Holborn, Holborn Gate and 44 Southampton Structures.

This notable undertaking complies with 4 years of setting up by Hoi Hup, attained through a collection of strategic acquisitions that brought combined approximately 250,000 sq ft of workplace.

The scheme will occur at a place adjacent to Chancery Lane underground stop and will be within minutes of Farringdon Station and the Elizabeth Line. Hoi Hup states the plan is readied to be the “western portal for potential project” and will be just one of the most significant new office consents in the Square Mile.
